The Nelson Mandela University Innovation Office, in collaboration with the Nelson Mandela University Student Governance and Development Office, hosted a talk on the 2nd of September to celebrate Student Entrepreneurship Week 2022 (#SEW2022) under the  theme “#MoveToMarket.” Student Entrepreneurship Week looks to equip students with entrepreneurship as a potential career option.

Dr. Anathi Njokweni, a Technology Transfer Manager at the Nelson Mandela University Innovation Office, gave a talk on Intellectual property and the service offerings of the Innovation Office. The audience for the presentation was university student entrepreneurs with business prospects.  The overall talk was a success as the audience received valuable information regarding Intellectual Property and how they can protect their entrepreneurship ventures.
